In upper spring, the extension will be equal to net force on it in the downward direction:

F_1=k_1x_1\\(m_1+m_2)g=k_1x_1\\x_1=(m_1+m_2)g/k_1

Similarly for spring 2:

F_2=k_2x_2\\m_2g=k_2x_2\\x_2=m_2g/k_2

Finding ratio x1/x2:

\frac{x_1}{x_2}=\frac{\frac{[(m_1+m2)g]}{k_1}}{\frac{m_2g}{k_2}}\\=k_2(m_1+m_2)/k_1m_2
