Given α and 1/α are the zeroes of 4x² - 2x + ( k - 4 ).

Here,

Coefficient of x² = 4

Coefficient of x = -2

Constant term = k - 4.

We know that,

⇒ Product of zeroes = Constant term ÷ Coefficient of x²

⇒ α ( 1/α ) = ( k - 4 ) ÷ 4

⇒ 1 = ( k - 4 ) ÷ 4

⇒ ( k- 4 ) = 4

⇒ k = 4 + 4

∴  k = 8.

Hope it helps !!
