Side of square = 50 m

Radius of all 4 quadrants = half of side

=> radius, r = 25 m

Now,

Area of the shaded region = Area of square - area of four quadrants

=> area = side² - 4×1/4 × πr²

=> area = 50×50 - π × 25 × 25

=> area = 2500 - 625π

=> area = 625( 4 - π )

=> area = 537.5

You can also write it as 625 ( 4 - π ) , Its fine.

537.5 m²
