Answer:

(i) PQ = acceleration is positive

a = V/ t

a = 30 / 6

a = 5m/s^2

QR = Here, the body is moving with uniform velocity so, the acceleration = 0

Because acceleration is change in velocity with time.

RS = acceleration is negative because the velocity of body is decreasing.

a = - V/ t

a = - 30 / 10 - 8

a = - 30 / 2

a = - 15 m/s^2

(ii) average speed = initial speed + final speed/2

average speed = 0 + 30 / 2

average speed = 30 / 2 = 15 m/s

(iii) Total distance = Velocity × time

d = 30 × 10

d = 300m.
