To Find :  will they be able to make if they work together ​

Solution:

1 hr = 60 mins

3 hrs = 180 mins

Xyra can pump 10 balloons in 35 mins  

=> Balloons pumped in 35 mins  = 10

=> Balloons pumped in 1 mins  = 10/35

=> Balloons pumped in 180 mins  = 180 * 10 / 35

= 51.4

Hence 51  Balloons can be pumped by Xyra in 3 hrs

Luisa can pump 15 balloons in 32 mins  

=> Balloons pumped in 32 mins  = 15

=> Balloons pumped in 1 mins  = 15/32

=> Balloons pumped in 180 mins  = 180 * 15 / 32

= 84.375

Hence 84  Balloons can be pumped by Luisa in 3 hrs

Bot Together can pump  = 51 + 84  = 135 Balloons

135 < 150

Hence They will not be able to make it
