SOLUTION........

Let, the larger no. be x and smaller no. be y.
According to the question,
 {x}^{2} -   {y}^{2}  = 180...........eq(1.)
and,
 {y}^{2}  = 8x...........eq.(2)
From eq (1.) and eq.(2)
we get,
 {x}^{2}  - 8x = 180
 {x}^{2}   -  8x - 180 = 0
 {x}^{2}  - 18x + 10x - 180 = 0
x (x-18) + 10 (x-18) = 0
(x-18) (x+10) = 0
So, x = 18 or x = -10(not valid)
Therefore, x = 18
put value of x in eq.2
we get,
y = 12.

Hence, the larger no. is 18 and smaller no. is 12.
