let 3 consecutive integers be x,x+1,x+2

here remainders also are proportional

x+x+1+ x+2 = 3x +3 = 3( x+1)

See here .

Now if x/3 gives L as remainder

Then x+1 would give L+1 as remainder

x+2 give L+2 as remainder

Now we know minimum value for remainder is 1 to make it non divisible

So if L= 1

L+2 = 3

And 3 is divisible by 3

So There would be at least one no in 3 consecutive integers which is divisible by 3

tamanna4260: why did you added all the consecutive integers?
