gauss theorem

according to the gusaa law

the total electric flux linked with the cloth surfaces is (1/) times the charge enclosed by the closed surface ( Gussasian surface) .

law is valid fir symmetric charge distribution .

importance of guasa law ;

  • it helps to determine the electric field intensity .eg :
  1. electric field due to a linear charge distribution.
  2. electric field due to a plane sheet of charge .etc.

i hope it helps you

Answer:

Gauss's theorem is of great importance those situations in which the calculations of electrostatic field by applying columbs law or superpersition of electric field becomes a very difficult the results are can be obtained by applying gauss's theorem with great ease
