Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :-

Sin theta +cos theta=a----(1)

squaring on both sides

= (Sin theta +cos theta)²=a²

=>sin²theta+cos²theta+2sin theta cos theta=

=>1+2sin theta cos theta=

=>2 sin theta cos theta=-1----(2)

=>sin theta cos theta =(-1)/2---(3)

and sec theta + Cosec theta =b

=>(1/cos theta)+(1/sin theta)=b

=>(sin theta +cos theta)/(sin theta cos theta)=b

=>a/[(-1)/2]=b from (1)&(3)

=>2a/(-1)=b

=>2a=b(-1)
