Steps to Construct a trapezium PQRS .

Given that PQ || RS  . PQ = 8cm , QR = 6cm, RS = 4cm , ∠Q=60°

Steps to construct

1) First draw a line PQ = 8cm

2) Then at point Q , draw an angle of 60° with PQ as initial arm of the angle.

3) On other arm of angle Q , cut an arc of length 6 cm . you will get point R

4) From point R draw a parallel line to PQ on same side where point P is there.

5) On that parallel line , from point R mark point S such that RS = 4cm.

6) Join PS.

the Resulting figure is required trapezium PQRS.
