hey there,

Solution : Let the radius of the circle be rr and side of the square be a.

 Then, according to question, 2πr=4a2πr=4a => a=2πr4a=2πr4 =πr2=πr2 ----(i) 

Now, ratio of their areas, πr2πr2 and a2a2 => πr2πr2 and (πr4)2(πr4)2 [From eq(i)] => πr2πr2 and π2r24π2r24 

Therefore, Area of the circle > Area of the square Report Error to the answer is B
