the force exerted by one  body on the another body is given by the Newtons formula:
F=G×m1×m2/r²
gravitational constant G = 6.7×10-11 Nm²kg²
mass of the earth,m1 = 6×10 power of 24 kg
mass of the moon, m2 = 7.4×10 power of 22 kg
the distance between the moon and the earth,r = 3.84×10 power of 5 km

= 3.84×10 power of 5 × 1000 m
= 3.84×10 power of 8 m
F= 6.7×10 power of -11×6×10 power of 24×7.4×10 power of 22/ (3.84×10 power of 8)²
F = 2.01×10 power of 20 newtons

the gravitational force exerted by the earth on the moon is 2.01×10 power of 20 newtons.
