In part (i)
take the trapezium TSRP
area of trap= h(sum of parallel sides)/2
=4(6+10)/2
=4(16)/2
=32 cm^2
Then in triangle PRQ
area of tri= 1/2(base*height)
=1/2 (10*5)
=1/2(15)
=7.5 cm^2
so total area of polygon= 32+7.5= 39.5 cm^2
