x^2-√3x-x+√3=0
x(x-√3)-1(x-√3)=0
(x-√3)(x-1)=0
x-√3=0 , x-1=0
x=√3 , x=1
x(x-√3)-1(x-√3)=0
(x-√3)(x-1)=0
x-√3=0 , x-1=0
x=√3 , x=1

and if you put 1 or √3 in place of x then answer will come 0 . so -3 is not correct , √3 and 1 is correct .
