Ans 14:-
Length of floor = 6.5 m
Breadth of floor = 5 m
Therfore, Area of floor = 32.5 Sq.mtr
Side of square tile = 25 cm
= 25/100 m
= 0.25 m
So, area of tile = 0.25*0.25 Sq.mtr
= 0.0625 Sq.mtr
Let 'n' be the number of tiles.
So, n x 0.0625 = 32.5
Or, n = 32.5/ 0.0625
Or, n = 520
Since, cost of 1 tiles = Rs 9.40
Hence cost of 520 tiles will be = Rs ( 9.40 x 520) = Rs 4888 ( Devil's Answer )
