(i) AIDS- Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome caused by HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus)

(ii) AIDS is a set of symptoms (or syndrome) caused by the HIV virus. When person gets AIDS, his immune system becomes weak and make the body susceptible to many other diseases. That's why it is a syndrome.

(iii) 1. Unsafe sex.

2. Blood transfusion by hypodermic needles.

3. Mother can transfer AIDS to her baby through milk.

(iv) She is a responsible citizen and caring towards others.

It's causative agent is HIV.

(ii) AIDS is a disease which weakens the immune system of the body and leads to the person becoming more prone to several diseases.Thus AIDS is considered a syndrome and not just a disease.

(iii) Three ways by which AIDS can be transmitted are-

1 through uncleaned needles

2 from mother to baby by the placenta

3 through sexual intercourse

(iv)Bulbul is a kind and thoughtful girl.She wants to spread knowledge about a very deadly disease and that shows her concern towards other people and her friends.She is also responsible as she did not ignore such a serious topic as AIDS like other people might do.
