so, Simple interest= ₹(1,57,675 - 85,000)

= ₹ 72,675

Now, we know that;

SI= PRT/100

=> 72675= 85000*4.5*T/100

=> 72675= 850*4.5*T

=> 72675= 85*45*T

=> T= 72675/3825= 19

Hence, required time period is 19 years.
