1. the carnatic - the form of classical movies mainly developed and practiced in the southern regions of India. the word carnatic comes from tje word karnataka.Its the oldest form of music in the world. the concept is similar to hindustani music but it doesnot have the muslim infulence on it. The musical instrument used in the carnatic music is different from the hindustani music.

2.the hindustani music- Its the north indian classical music developed and practiced in the northern regions. the hindustani music os nased on seven ragas. It has different style of instruments which may it differ from carnatic music.
