In triangle ABC right angled at B and from A to C angle of elevation is theta from A to D angle of elevation is 90 - theta.Distance from B to C is 4m and from B to D is 9 m.AB is height

BD =BC + CD

9 = 4 + CD

CD = 5m

Tan theta = AB ÷BC

= AB ÷ 4

Tan 90 - theta = AB ÷ BD

= AB ÷ 9

Tan 90 - theta = cot theta

tan theta × cot theta= 1

AB ÷ 4 × AB ÷ 9 = 1

AB × AB ÷ 36 =1

AB square = 36

AB = 6

Therefore,height of the tower is 6m
