so, P ≡ (-2,0) ≡ {(-2 + x)/2, (0 + y//2 }
(-2,0) = {(-2 + x)/2 , y/2 }
-2 = (2 + x)/2
⇒-4 = 2 + x
⇒x = -6
0 = (y - 3)/2
⇒0 = y - 3
⇒y = 3
Therefore the coordinates of point B is (-6,3).
