Answer:

Before:-

Iron filings :- Greyish black

Copper sulphate :- Blue

After

the colour of solution change to (FeSO4) green and there is a black deposit at bottom (copper.)

The change in colour is due to the displacement reaction took place between Fe and Cu as Fe is more reactive than Cu and displaces it from CuSO4 .

Reaction:-

Fe + CuSO4 ---> FeSO4 + Cu
