Hence; from (1) and (2)

PB / PD = PC/PE

and Angle BPC = Angle EPD (vertically opoiste angles)

Since, one angle of Δ PBC is equal to one angle of ΔPDE and the sides including these angles are proportional, so both triangles are similar. Hence, ΔPBC ∼ ΔPDE, by SAS similarity criterion.

So, Angle PBC = Angle PDE = 60 degree,

and, the Angle PCB = Angle PED = 80 degree
