well, according to me , the logic is :
The two digits are added , their sum is subtracted by 2 and the answer is the remainder left after dividing the sum by 10.
Ex =
7+7 = 14
14 -2 = 12 and so the last digit is 2
therefore 7+7=2

8+8 = 16
16-2 = 14 therefore the ans is 4.

So the answer Shud b = 1
(4+9 = 13 - 2= 11 /10 remainder = 1)
