Total distance to be travelled = 4.4 km
= 4400 m

Diameter of wheel = 70 cm = 0.7 m

Radius of wheel= 0.7 / 2 m

Circumference of wheel = 2 * pi *r

= 2* 22*0.7 / 7* 2

= 22*0.1

= 2.2 m

No. Of revolutions = Total distance / Circumference of wheel

= 4400 / 2.2

= 2000

total distance to cover =4.4 km
= 440000cm
and the circumference of the wheel =2pi×radius =2×22/7×35 cm
now let the required no. of revolutions made be x then ;
2×22/7×35×( x ) = 440000
x= 2000
hence the required no.of revolution made by the wheel is 2000
