Given that total number of coins tossed = 3.

(1) The total number of possible outcomes:

S = {HHH,HHT,HTH,THH,HTT,THT,TTH,TTT}

n(S) = 8.

(2) The probability of 3 heads coming up:

Let E be the event of getting 3 heads.

E = {HHH}.

n(E) = 1.

Therefore P(E) = n(E)/n(S)

                         = 1/8.

(3) The probability of getting at least one head

Let E be the event of getting at least one head.

E = {HTT,THT,TTH,HHT,HTH,THH,HHH}

n(E) = 7.

P(E) = 7/8.

(4) Probability of getting more tails than heads

Let E be the event of getting more tails than heads.

E = {HTT,TTH,TTT,THT}.

n(E) = 4.

P(E) = n(E)/n(S)

       = 4/8

       = 1/2.

Hope this helps!
