we can write 5√5 as 5^(1.5)
thus, 5^(1.5) x 5^(3) x 5^(-1.5)=5^(a+2)
-------5^(1.5+3-1.5)=5^(a+2)
-------5^(3)=5^(a+2)
thus 3=a+2
------a=1
hope this helps!!
