Heyy mate your answer is here.

3.He(Iswaran) narrated the story of a tusker in a dramatic way. He said that one day, a tusker from a timber yard to farm. After destroy each and everything, he came into the school ground. At this time he was studying in the junior class. No one dared to face the tusker but he grabbed a cane from his teacher and turn towards the tusker. He hit his third toenail. It shivered head to foot and fell down.

It was seemed to be implausible. It was very difficult to believe that a child control the mad elephant.

4.Iswaran was a good storyteller. He adds suspense and surprise in a simple incident. He entertains Mahendra by his narrating and amusing stories and also the author entertains that story was credible or not.So, the author say that Iswaran seemed to more than make up for the absence of a TV in Mahendra's living quarters .

5.Mahendra calls ghost or spirits a figment of the imagination. He did not believe in ghost. One day, Iswaran told to him that a female ghost holding a foetus. On a full moon night, he woke up from his sleep by the wailing sound he could not resist him, and looked out from the window. He was shocked because it was the same figure he was started sweat with fear. He sat his on the pillow. Now , it seemed Iswaran's story to be true.

6.The ending of the story was that Mahendra would resolved and resulted leave the quarter. But it was not a appropriating end of the story. The end of the story like this- Mahendra approached woman courageously and know about the woman and not leave the quarters.

It is right but some minor mistakes. So, i really sorry.

One night, Mahendra was woken up from his sleep by a low moan close to the window near his bed. Initially, he thought it was a cat running after mice. However, the sound was too guttural for a cat. Mahendra resisted the curiosity of looking outside the window but when the noise became louder, he could not resist the temptation. When he looked outside, he saw a dark cloudy form clutching a bundle. He broke into a cold sweat and fell back on the pillow.

When he recovered from this ghastly experience, he concluded that it must have been some trick that his subconscious mind had played on him. When he got up in the morning, the terrible memory of the previous night had faded from his memory.

he immediately resigned from his post and decided to leave the ‘haunted place.’

Thanks
