QUESTION 10's ANSWER

Indian secularism is different from Western secularism. In western secularism, there is no interference of the state in religious affairs and vice versa.

India also follows the same belief but in a different manner. In India also, State doesn't meddle with the religion. However, to uphold the Constitution ideals and principals, it can intervene.

For eg: We have an article i.e. Article 17 which abolishes untouchability. Untouchability was a practice which was widely prevalent in the Hindu religion. With the principled intervention of the State, it got abolished. This is the difference.

Indian secularism like the western secularism, does not favour any single religion, people can propogate and practice any religion, which they admire. State will not favour any particular religion.

QUESTION 11's ANSWER

The 3 objectives of secularism are:
I) One religious community does not dominate another.
II) some members do not dominate the other members of the religious community.
III) the state doesn't enforce any particular religion nor does it take away the religious freedom of others.
