1] Rational numbers: rational numbers are those numbers that can be expressed in the form p/q where q is not equal to 0
Example: 1/3, 2/5, 6/7 etc..

2] irrational numbers: irrational numbers are those numbers that can not be expressed in the form p/q
Example: √8, √11, π etc..


3] integers: all negative and non- negative numbers including 0
Example: -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 etc..

4] Whole numbers: all non-negative counting numbers including 0
Example: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc..

5] Natural numbers: non - negative counting numbers (except 0)
Example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc…
