Ans 1 :- the constitution is a set of rules according to which country is governed .

Ans 2 :- a democratic country needs a constitution due to following reasons :-

1. the constitution provide basic rules and principles on the basis of which a democratic government functions.

2. it is the Constitution that decides how the government will be organised.

3. rule of law is a basic feature of a democratic country and the constitution makes provisions for the feature.

4. the constitution impase limitations on the three organs of the government

Ans 3 :- The Constitution was adopted on 26th november 1949, but came into effect on 26th January 1950.

Ans 4 :- The history of the Republic of India begins on 26 January 1950. The country became an independent nation within the British Commonwealth on 15 August 1947.

Ans 5 :- There are six type of Fundamental Rights in the constitution.

Ans 6 :- 1. Right to Equality

2. right to freedom

3. right against explaitation

4. right to freedom of religion

5. cultural and educational rights

6. right to constitutional remedies

Ans 7 :- The chairman of drafting committee is Dr. BR Ambedkar.

Ans 8 :- To avoid conflicts between people in india constitution was formed which also maintains unity in the country and cannot be changed easily.

Ans 9 :- The first meeting of constitution assembly convened in 9th December 1946.

Ans 10 :- A constitutional assembly is a body of representatives composed for the purpose of drafting or adopting a constitution.
