 \frac{3x + 5}{2x + 7}  = 4 \\  \\ 3x + 5 = 8x + 28 \\  \\ 5x =  - 23 \\  \\ x =  \frac{ - 23}{5}

\large\sf\underline{Solution :-}

\sf⟹\:\frac{3x+5}{2x+7}=4

Cross multiplying :

\sf⟹\:4(2x+7) =3x+5

\sf⟹\:8x+28=3x+5

\sf⟹\:8x-3x=5-28

\sf⟹\:5x=-23

\sf⟹\:x=\frac{-23}{5}

\tt\purple{⟹\:x=-4.6}
