iron from iron nail start dissolving in copper sulphate solution and copper is start separating from solution because iron is more reactive than copper so its displaces copper from its sulphate solution

Diksant: and what about zinc
priya1357: zinc is more reactive than iron so iron does not displaces zinc
Diksant: OK Thnx
priya1357: its ok

hey... @User,
here's ur answer ,

As we know, zinc ( Zn )is more reactive than iron ( fe)

hence in reaction, Zinc displaces copper in copper sulphate solution.

and Zinc sulphate will form, where's copper get stuck to the nail.
which forms reddish colour to the iron nail.

( Displacement Reaction will occur )

Hope it might be helpful !!

Diksant: and what about iron
Saakshi01: iron will left behind becz it is not reactive than zinc.
Diksant: OK thanks
Saakshi01: ur welcome. hope ur doubt is cleared. :)
Diksant: yes
