How to know that the given equation in exam paper may be from pair of linear equation in two variable or quadratic equation??
Also how can we find that in a given question we have to find lcm or hcf..

variable represent only alphabet and quadratic equation will be in 4terms and if the starting term is start with cube means the answer should be in 3terms

linear equation forms 2 equation eg:x+y=6
y+x=8
while quadratic equation will always form one equation eg:x+y=27
as i am also in 10th and had faced such problem so know and it is an easy way to identify

I mean to say if it is a word problem then how to identify from which method to do... to take x and y both or as in quadratic equation only one variable x
first read the q if it is forming two equation then it means it is linear equation but if it is forming only one equation then it means it is an quadratic equation. its simple.
