Hi friend!

Let the number of Rs5 notes be x and Rs 10 notes be y.

According to the question

y=x+10

Amount=Rs1000

5x+10y=1000÷5

x+2y=200

Substituting y=x+10

x+2(x+10)=200

x+2x+20=200

3x+20=200

3x=180

x=60

y=x+10

=60+10

=70

Number of Rs5 notes=60

Number of Rs10 notes=70

Please mark my answer brainliest if it helped you.

Let the no . of 5 rupees be x.

By the question,

no. of 10 rupees=x+10

Now,

5x+10(x+10)=1000

5x+10x+100=1000

15x=1000-100

15x=900

x=60

Then,

No. of 5 rupees=x=60

No. of 10 rupees=x+10=60+10=70

Hence, you have 60 notes of 5 rupees and 70 notes of 10 rupees.
