Answer:

since x and y are vertically opposite angles they are equal therefore

x = y

(whatever is the value of x will be equal to y and vice versa )

hope it helps

In the triangle ABC,

Angle ACB = Angle x ( Vertically opposite angles)...(i)

Hence,

Angle BAC = Angle x ( Vertically opposite angles)...(ii)

Similarly ,

Angle ABC = Angle x ( vertically opposite angles...(iii)

From (i), (ii) and (iii)

Angle ACB = Angle BAC = Angle ABC = Angle x

we conclude that Angle ACB, Angle BAC and Angle ABC are equal

sum of all angles in triangle = 180°

Angle ACB + Angle BAC + Angle ACB = 180°

Let us assume that Angle ACB, BAC and ACB is y

y + y + y = 180°

3y = 180°

y = 180/3 = 60°

If Angle BAC = 60°

Then, Angle x = 60° ( Vertically opposite angle)

Hence, x = 60° and y = 60°

I hope it helps
