• voltage (v) = 4v

• residence (r) = ?

we know the formula,

R = V/I

putting values in this we get R

=>R= 4/2

=>R= 2 ohm

Now,

If n resistors, each of resistance r, are connected in parallel with required resistance R, then:

R = r/n

=> 2 = 8/n

=> n = $\frac{8}{2}$

=> n = 4
