The celebration of the Christmas Day is the largest event in Russia and I have been looking forward to celebrating the event with my family. This is also the largest family gathering and marking this day, all the family members get together at my grandparent’s house. Actually, we wait for the day eagerly. The celebration will take place at the village Vyatskoe located in the Yaroslavl region. Earlier, this was a remote and back warded village. But with the help of private investment, it has become a great place for the people and especially the locals. My grandparents have shifted here from Moscow and they love to see us during this time of the year. In fact, the entire family is gathering here for past few years and making great fun around the week they stay here. So, it is anticipated that the event will take place here like the other years if there are not major disorders in the family.
I am the youngest daughter of my family and everyone loves me much. So, they do not prefer that I should participate in any work. Rather, they help me greatly in the other tasks. But I have a plan that this year I will take part in decorating the Christmas tree and also will extend a helping hand in preparing the foods for that night.
This is an exciting event for me. All the family members gather together especially my cousins. They are of my age and we make fun together. We talk, we take foods, enjoy cartoons or animated movies and also spend time by playing with snowballs and many more adventurous activities. Hence, I am looking forward to the event.
