A ragging storm is hitting the city of COCHIN for the early hours of 7 May , 2018 and continuing for almost 3 hours . Winds picking up a speed of Fifty Kilometres . Many trees were uprooted , bilboards were ripped . Paper and polyethylene were strewn all over the city. Office workers were delayed into the traffic Jams. Schools announced a holiday due to water looging in many parts of the city . Power line were tripped and the city suffered a blackout .
