hey friend here is your answer....
(1) meristematic cells have prominent nucleus and dense cytoplasm because the cells need to divide again and again to give rise to new undifferentiated cells which involve the mitosis of meristematic cells into many other cells and that too very fast. the function of vacuole is to store food but meristematic cells does not required to store the food as the consumption rate is very fast.
(2) sclerenchymatous tissue do not have intercellular spaces because of its function to provide mechanical support and if intercellular spaces are present between them then their strength will decrease exponentially.

Intercellular space are absent in schelrenchyma because of the deposition of suberin ,they have suberin thickenings.meristematic tissue keeps on dividing therefore they have prominent nucleus.
