Ans: The brain plays no role in reflex action.

It is a quick involuntary action in response to a stimuli without the involvement of brain.

The sensory nerves that detect the heat are connected to the nerves that moves muscles of the hands.such a connection of detecting the signals frm the nerves and responding to it quickly is known as reflex arc . reflex arcs are formed in the spinal cord and the information reaches the brain and the brain responses to it
In this way brain helps in reflex actions.
