Find the x and y by the substitution method in the given equation
1st equation ->x-6y=36
2nd equation ->3x-4y=4

(1) x - 6y = 36

  x = (36 + 6y)

(2) 3x - 4y = 4

=> 3(36 + 6y) - 4y = 4

=> 108 + 18y - 4y = 4

=> 14y = -104

=> y = -52/7

Place y in (1), we get

=> x = (36 + 6y)

=> x = (36 + 6 * -52/7)

=> x = -60/7
