let \: p(x) =   {x}^{3}  - 3 {x}^{2}  + x + 2 \\ zero \: of(x - 2) = 2 \\ p(2) = (2) ^{3}  - 3(2) ^{2}  + 2 + 2 \\  = 8 - 3 \times 4 + 2 + 2 \\  = 12 - 12 \\  = 0 \\ now \\ p(x) =  {x}^{3}  -  {3x}^{2}  + x + 2 \\ zero \: of(2x + 4) =  - 2 \\ p( - 2) = ( - 2)^{3}  + 3( - 2) ^{2}  + ( - 2) + 2 \\  =  - 8 + 3 \times 4 - 2 + 2 \\  =  - 8 + 12 - 2 + 2 \\   = - 10 + 14 \\  = 4

hope it helps
