Answer:

to find the area of triangle use

1/2 base x height

if BC is base then AD is height

then it's area is 1/2 X 6 X 5. = 15 cm^2..

if AC is base then BE is height again find the area

1/2 X 6 X BE = 15

this implies BE is equal to 5 cm

hope this will help u..

Answer:

area =15 cm^2; BE =5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

base =5cm ; height=6 cm

Area of the triangle =1/2*bh

=1/2*5*6

=5*3

=15cm^2

If base =AC ; height= BE

But Area of the triangle =15 cm^2

1/2*bh=15

1/2* AC *BE =15

1/2*6*BE=15

3*BE =15

BE=15/3

=5

Therefore BE =5 cm
