Sum of Rational Numbers = 4/5 + 2/3 + 5/6

= 24/30 + 20/30 + 25/30

= 69/30

= 23/10

No. of observations = 3

Average :

Sum of observations / No. of observations

23/10 ÷ 3

= 23/30

= 0. 76

Average = 0.76

\mathrm{Given\;Rational\;Numbers : \dfrac{4}{5}\;,\;\dfrac{2}{3}\;,\;\dfrac{5}{6}}

\bigstar\;\;\mathrm{Average = \dfrac{Sum\;of\;all\;the\;Observations}{Total\;Number\;of\;Observations}}

\bigstar\;\;\mathrm{Average = \dfrac{Sum\;of\;all\;the\;Rational\;Numbers}{Total\;Number\;of\;Rational\;Numbers}}

Here : Total Number of Rational Numbers = 3

\implies \mathrm{Average = \dfrac{\bigg[\dfrac{4}{5} + \dfrac{2}{3} + \dfrac{5}{6}\bigg]}{3}}

Least Common Multiple of 5 , 3 , 6 is 30

\implies \mathrm{Average = \dfrac{\bigg[\dfrac{(6)(4) + (10)(2) + (5)(5)}{30}\bigg]}{3}}

\implies \mathrm{Average = \dfrac{\bigg[\dfrac{24 + 20 + 25}{30}\bigg]}{3}}

\implies \mathrm{Average = \dfrac{\bigg[\dfrac{69}{30}\bigg]}{3}}

\implies \mathrm{Average = \dfrac{\bigg[\dfrac{23}{10}\bigg]}{3}}

\implies \mathrm{Average = \bigg[\dfrac{23}{10\times3}\bigg]}}

\implies \mathrm{Average = \bigg[\dfrac{23}{30}\bigg]}}
