\huge\mathcal\blue{Solution}

The given pair of linear equations are :-

 \frac{x}{2}  +  \frac{y}{3}  = 8 \:  \:  \: .........(i)

and

 \frac{5x}{4}  - 3y =  - 3 \:  \:  \:  \: ........(ii)

By multiplying eq . (i) with 6 and eq .(ii) with 4 we get ....

 =  >  \frac{x}{2}  \times 6 +  \frac{y}{3}  \times 6 = 8 \times 6

 = 3x + 2y = 48\:  \:  \: ........(iii)

and

 =  >  \frac{5x}{4}  \times 4 - 3y \times 4 =  - 3 \times 4

 = 5x - 12y = -12 \:  \:  \: .........(iv)

Now , by multiplying 5 in eq .(iii) and 3 in eq. (iv) , we get ...

 =  > 15x + 10y = 240

and

15x  - 36y = -36

Now by subtracting both equations ...

15x + 10y = 240

15x - 36y = -36

(-)__(-)__(-)_________

46y = 276

y = 276/46

y=  6

Now putting the value of y in eq.(iv)

5x - 12y = -12

=> 5x - 12 × 6 = -12

=> 5x = -12 + 72

=> 5x = 60

=> x = 12

Hence , the value of x is 12 and y is 6 .
