Angle AOC + Angle BOC =90 ( both angles complement)

(x+12)+2(x+6)=90
x+12+2x+12=90
3x+24=90
3x=90-24
3x= 66
x=66/3
x= 22.

Answer:

x = 22

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, ∠AOC = (x + 12)°, ∠BOC = 2(x + 6)°

We know that two angles are complementary when they add up to 90°

⇒ x + 12 + 2x + 12 = 90

⇒ 3x + 24 = 90

⇒ 3x = 90 - 24

⇒ 3x = 66

⇒ x = 66/3

⇒ x = 22.

Hope it helps!
