Radius of block= 70c.m
Total cost on painting curved area is rupees 1100
1.25 rupees = 100c.m² area
1100 rupees =( 100/1.25)×1100=88000c.m²
Curved surface area of block is 88000c.m²
Curved surface area formula=2πrh
from above
2πrh =88000
h=88000/2πr= 88000/(2×3.14×70)
h =200.18 c.m
HEIGHT OF BLOCK IS 200.18 C.M

given,
radius = 70 cm
height = ?
curve surface area of wooden block = curve surface area of cylinder

use formula ,
curve surface area of cylinder = 2.pi.r.h
but ,
according to question ,
curve surface area =total cost / rate of painting
=1100Rs /(1.25 Rs /100 cm^2)
= 11 x 4/5 x 10^4 cm^2
=88000 cm^2

now curve surface area = 2. pi. r .h
88000 = 2 x 22/7 x 70 x h
88000 = 440 x height

hence ,
height = 200 cm = 2 m
