Step-by-step explanation:

(3 root5 +2 root2)^2- (3 root5- 2root2)^2 is x^2- y^2

a=3 root5

b= 2root2

(a+b)(a+b)(a-b)(a-b)

=(a+b)(a-b)(a+b)(a-b)

identity= (a+b)(a-b)= a^2-b^2

= (a^2-b^2)(a^2-b^2)

= (a^2-b^2)^2

identity= (a-b)^2= a^2- 2ab + b^2

= (a^2)^2 - 2a^b^2 + (b^2)^2

=a^4 - 2a^2b^2 + b^4

= (3 root5)^4 - 2(3 root5)^2(2 root2)^2 + (2 root2)^4

and solve it and that will be the value of x^2- y^2

Hope it is helpful
