Hi,

Much the same as those caused by any other severe tropical storm such as hurricanes, typhoons, etc. I'm assuming you mean tropical cyclones here.

So, they pack lots of heavy rain which can cause flooding, erosion and landslides. Also very strong winds, which can uproot trees, damage or destroy buildings, crops etc, and in coastal regions, they produce a storm surge, caused by the combined effects of low air pressure and wave push, which can inundate coastal areas. These combined cause damage to infrastructure such as roads, power and telecommunication, damage or destroy crops and cause temporary damage to natural environments.

Hey !

Very strong winds mat damage installations, dwellings,communication systems,trees,etc.It may also cause loss of life and river floods.
