Answer:

LHS : (Cos A / 1 + Sin A )+ (1 + SinA / Cos A)

= Cos^2 A + (1 + SinA)^2/ (Cos A) (1 + Sin A)

Apply (a+b)^2 formula to (1+sinA)^2

=( Cos^2 A + 1 + Sin^2 A + 2 Sin A ) / ( Cos A ) (1 + Sin A)

Now we know that sin^2 A + cos^2 A = 1

= (1 + 1 + 2 SinA) / (Cos A) (1 +Sin A)

= (2 + 2 SinA) / (Cos A) ( 1 + Sin A)

= 2(1 + Sin A) / Cos A (1+Sin A)

= 2 / Cos A

= 2 Sec A

= RHS
